Ride Around Edinburgh

This site is being put together by members of the CityCyclingEdinburgh Forum.

CCE people have a wide range of cycling experiences – from those who have just started cycling around Edinburgh to those who have cycled many thousands of miles – just wandering about and seeing the sights or achieving personal time/distance targets.

Most of the time it’s enjoyable and fun!

They also have a range of interests including architecture, farm chimneys and wildlife watching.

The idea of this site is to share experiences and encourage others to enjoy the varied urban and rural places around the Capital.

For convenience there are geographical sections including Edinburgh, East, West and Mid Lothians, Borders & Fife. Practically many rides will cross these borders – adding to the excitement.

There will also be themed sections on things like Art Deco and birdwatching.

Of course being a site for cyclists, there will be a few mentions of food and drink – teashops and lunch stops.

This site will never be comprehensive or even 100% accurate!
